For my Solid Mechanics Lab course at SDSU. Here, an aluminum beam spanning over a 90" distance is loaded and displacements measured using dial indicators at the quarter locations. The moment of inertia is 2.5 inches to the fourth, and Young's Modulus is 10,000 kips per square inch. There are 3 load cases. Outro was filmed at the Sweetwater River Estuary in National City, CA.
