Inspired by #sharktank, an American TV Show, Project Demo Day” (PDD) is an effort to get Volunteer projects funded, introduce #CorpsAfrica and Volunteers to networks and opportunities, promote a culture of philanthropy in Africa, and build local awareness of CorpsAfrica.
CorpsAfrica/Ghana office selected six (6) Volunteers to pitch community-chosen and community-led projects to philanthropists, potential donors, corporates, and other NGOs to solicit funding for their community projects.
The goals of Project Demo Day are to:
Develop the professional skills of African youth
Promote a culture of African philanthropy
Fund small-scale, high-impact community-led projects
