We celebrated Marlon's 17th birthday today with some special enrichment activities for the chimps. Marlon is considered to be the Alpha male in Villa 3, where he lives with six other male chimpanzees formerly used in biomedical research. In the sanctuary, Marlon is very demonstrative and outgoing. He enjoys being the center of attention in his social group. #marlonchimp #projectchimps
