This album marks Clarkson’s first original full-length album in six years, following Meaning of Life (2017). Chemistry explores the emotional journey of a relationship, from its highs to its inevitable lows, drawing inspiration from the end of her marriage to Brandon Blackstock. It blends pop, rock, and ballads with Clarkson’s powerful voice leading the way.
