Insect Glaive is a WAR CRIME in Monster Hunter Wilds |

There are a lot of ways to take down Arkveld, whether you're going solo or hunting with others. If you're struggling here are some strategies to use to help get you that win in under 20 minutes.

In this hunt, I used the Doshaguma Armor and Cabbage / Mud Shrimp / Eastern Honey recipe for Dragon Resistance, Armorskin for additional raw defense, traps for crowd control and DPS (but not to capture), mounts for wound management, Flash Pods to break out of grabs, and Focus Mode / Focus Strike for sustained DPS and staggering Arkveld.

Other strategies I didn't use include Demon Ammo with the Bowgun to give yourself a Demondrug attack increase, and using Fast Travel to Pop-Up Camps at Area 9 Lookout Hill, Area 16 Northwest, and Area 4 West, which are common areas for Arkveld to move to and eat up a lot of time with the Open Beta Test's frequency of Monster movement.
