1st Overlanding in a year: 2 days in the Cohutta Wilderness and Coopers creek: Ga Traverse (parts)

Shakedown run (much needed), Familiar places on the Georgia Traverse. Preparing for a 7 day trip to Texas just 2 weeks later, i needed to do a check of my Overlanding gear. I found several issues to work out before my big adventure, this is why i needed a Shakedown run

This Off-Road adventure focuses primarily on the Cohutta Wilderness and Coopers Creek

Day 1 holly creek and old ccc camp road into the Cohutta wilderness. Camp at one of my favorite locations looking west, build a campfire, eat dinner, and watch the sun go down

Day 2 Sunrise in the Cohutta, then head to Coopers creek. Leaving Coopers creek we’ll follow the Georgia Traverse into Helen. Our final stop is the Helen Overlook, here we pull over and air the tires back up in the Jeep

The big frog loop is an Overlanding trail circling the Cohutta Wilderness and is part of the Georgia Traverse
