Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for giving epic period films, talks about his film Devdas. He talks about the conception of the idea of the film, picking his cast Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali: "I was alone at home and I opened the book. It was an English version with some 20 pages but every time I read or opened it in my eyes, I would feel nice, I would feel good. Then I said Chalo lets make this film. Then during that time, four-five friends called me saying I think you should make Devdas and I started connecting. I am reading, in my heart also and from outside, it just came in front of me itself."
