Tinsukia Railway Station - We started our Arunachal Pradesh Tour from the Tinsukia Railway Station, Assam.

Assam - Arunachal Border - To enter Arunachal Pradesh, you need an “Inner Line Permit” (ILP), which you can take online & offline.


ILP Charges - Rs 30 Per Person

Dinner in Namsai - We had our dinner at “Ocha Restaurant” in Namsai. We had local food for dinner.

The food taste was great here overall we enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.

Hotel in Chowkham - We booked our accommodation at Chowkham - 7 KM Resort. It’s a bamboo cottage type of property located on the riverside.

Tariff - Rs 2500 + Tax for double occupancy.

Our stay at this property was average, but the scenic view from this resort was great.

Next Day - 11th Sept 2024

Golden Pagoda - We visited the “Golden Pagoda” known as Kongmu Kham in the Tai Khamti language. It is a Burmese-style Buddhist temple.

Ticket - Rs 20 Per Person

Lunch - We had our lunch at the “Tung Tao Resort”. This resort is at an amazing location situated in Seawater. We had Pumpkin Seeds curry, Aloo Sabzi & fiddlehead furn for lunch.

The fresh water and seating arrangements in the overflowing stream we enjoyed the most.

Tickets - Rs 50 Per Person

Tung Tao Resort Accommodation Charges - Rs 4,000 including breakfast
Cottages - Rs 2,000 (Non AC)
Rs 3,000 (AC)


Kamlang Bridge - On the way to Parshuram Kund we stopped at “Kamlang Bridge” to see the Scenic views of beautiful “Kamlang River”. The water of river was so crystal clear.

Parsuram Kund - Then we visited the “Parsuram Kund”, It is a very Divine place with a temple of Shri Parsuram Ji. This Temple is situated on the Lohit River.

There is also a belief the Bhramaputra River originates from this spot.

Homestay in Roing - We reached Roing & booked our Accomoadation at “Mito Homestay”. It is a cottage type of Homestay. Number of this homestay is easily available through google search.

Tariff - Rs 1500 for double occupancy.

We enjoyed our stay at this Homestay.
