🌿 Story Behind the Song – My Jesus is Enough 🌿

This song was birthed during a season of deep personal brokenness. In the quiet place of weeping before the Lord—alone, hurting, and desperate—I poured out my heart to Him.
The suffering God allowed in my life became the very means by which He drew me closer to himself, teaching me to depend not on my own self, but wholly on Him.

As I sought Him with all my heart, a simple melody began to take shape, and these words formed:

“If I desire Jesus alone,
then I’ll be content in Him alone.
I’ll be content in everything
which He sends forth.”

These words echo the cry of the Psalmist in Psalm 73:25–26:

“Whom have I in heaven but You?
And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

These lyrics became a deep comfort—an echo of God’s heart to me through His Word. As it's Written in 2 Corinthians 1:3–6:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble,
with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God...”

God taught me that he often uses suffering to break us—to strip away pride, self-sufficiency, self-pity, self-love, and all kinds of sin which are deeply rooted in self centeredness and self love on which God wants to give us light and transforms us through his power—so that we might become more like Christ and rely solely on Him and it is impossible through our own strength but only possible by God's Grace(Power) which he gives us. The comfort He gives is never meant for us alone, but is to overflow to others.

God has not changed my circumstances even today, But He has given me grace to endure and taught me to wait on Him patiently, trust him and his ordained time for everything, and surrender to His higher ways so that he can accomplish many things in my life which i can't understand through my finite wisdom, (His Foremost purpose is to make me like Christ Rom 8:28,29)

💖 A Dedication to Joni Eareckson Tada
During the time this song was being formed, I was deeply impacted by the life and testimony of Joni Eareckson Tada. I heard her testimony and many videos through YouTube, and they spoke deeply into my heart.

On July 30, 1967, at just 17 years old, Joni suffered a diving accident that left her a quadriplegic—paralyzed from the shoulders down. For over 58 years, she has faithfully followed Christ from a wheelchair, enduring chronic pain, two battles with stage 4 cancer, and unimaginable emotional and physical trials.

Yet her radiant joy in Jesus and unwavering trust have shown me what it truly means to love, obey, and glorify Christ—even in the valley of suffering. She has become a tremendous source of blessing and challenging encouragement first of all to me and to the nations in many ways and especially to those with disabilities who are so often overlooked by society.

Joni is one of my heroes of faith—a modern-day forerunner of Christ’s sustaining grace. Her life is a living testimony that Jesus truly is enough.

I dedicate this song to my beloved sister in Christ,

a Godly woman whose example I want to follow, as she follows Christ daily.

May God be Glorified through this song and May it bless and comfort those richly especially those who all are going through severe trials and difficulties in their lives
