Day three of caring for my friend’s newborn kittens (while she’s in the hospital), and things were finally starting to look hopeful. They gained weight, mama cat finally showed signs of caring for them… and then, out of nowhere, ALL THREE kittens disappeared.
I found myself crawling on the floor, checking every dark corner, praying they were okay. What I discovered under the bed… my heart honestly dropped.
