The Youth Ambassadors Starters Program 2021

The Youth Ambassadors Starters Program 2021 took place in the first week of October in Istanbul!
For five days, 36 young people from Germany and Turkey developed their own project ideas and deepened their understanding of project management. They also took part in elective workshops at our beautiful event location in Beykoz, Istanbul. These workshops covered a wide variety of topics such as Intersectionality, Gender issues, Art in the Public Space, Questions regarding global Citizenship, Policy-Making, and Active-Recall-Learning.
After a long day of workshops, a comfy fireplace was waiting for participants, and together we sang songs and enjoyed the evening.
The memories are still fresh, and we are excited to continue both our new project ideas and the new friendships developed during the event.
Almost all the participants decided to become Jugendbotschafter members, and the Teams that emerged during the YASP 2021 are on their way to realizing their projects with the ongoing support of the association. Peer-to-peer learning is incredibly powerful in this regard, since it allows us to maintain a dynamic and effective working environment.
Thanks to funding from the Deutsch-Türkische Jugendbrücke, we realized the YASP for the third time in our association’s history.
