How to make Dragon chicken at Home
Dragon chicken is a spicy, sweet and crispy Chinese dish made with fried chicken strips tossed in a flavourful sauce. Cashew nuts are often added for crunch and spring onions are used as garnish to add freshness and color. Dragon chicken can be served as an appetiser or paired with fried rice.
Ingredients :
For marination :
Chicken boneless 500g ( cut into thin strips)
Salt 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Chilli flakes 1 tbsp
Cornflour 3 tbsp
Egg
Leave the chicken for 30 minutes
For Sauce :
Oil 3 tbsp
3 chopped garlic cloves
Whole chilli 8-10
Cashew nuts 8-10
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Chilli sauce 1 tbsp
Chicken cube 1
Sugar 2 tbsp
2 tbsp cornflour
Ketchup 6-7 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Capsicum half
Onion 1
Spring Onions as required
To make fried rice :
Oil 3 tbsp
Boiled rice 300g
2 eggs
1 capsicum
2 carrots
Cabbage as required
Spring onions as required
Salt 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Chilli sauce 1 tbsp
