During World War II the Netherlands was invaded by Germany. The German invasion of the Netherlands lasted from 10 May till 15 May 1940. The Dutch armed forces then surrendered. Many Dutch were surprised the Germans invaded the Netherlands. Did the Dutch military leaders not see it? And what precautions did they take? In this video we'll discuss the Dutch war preperations before the German attack on the Netherlands.
