The role of a country partner at Bøthofus involves actively contributing to the promotion and cultivation of international peace.
A country partner is an individual who takes care of business related to their country, a country they are mostly knowledgeable in.

Making sure that MOU (Memorandum of Understanding document) is get signed on time, invoices are paid on time by local institutions, and all the reports are submitted to local institutions properly on time.
Collaborations can be formed with
Higher education institutions such as universities, colleges and vocational training.

Embassies.
And private institutions such as corporates and innovation ecosystem builders, accelerators, incubators and innovation hubs
BøthOfUs as a company is funded by two different European Union Innovation Fund.
First, the Innovation Fund that is offered to BøthOfUs by European Union and serves the goal of building innovation and entrepreneurship activities in higher education institutions.
And the second fund, digital transformation, that involves digitalization and modernizing the institutions.
The country partner identifies the local institution to collaborate with and explains to them the benefits to collaborate with BøthOfUs.
The collaboration is covered financially from funds provided by the European Union. However, to have a commitment from the local institutions, we charge a fee between 100 to 300 dollars from the local partnering institutions.
The partnering institution has to pay the commitment fee in two terms. The first off, 50% is paid in the beginning of the collaboration when they sign the MoU, the Memorandum of Understanding. And then the second 50% of 100 to 300 dollars paid after the collaboration is done.
Country partners are responsible to make sure that the MoU documents will be signed by both parties (the institutions and BøthOfUs). The MoU document is drafted by the main office team of BøthOfUs in Sweden and signed by the CEO.
Once an MoU is signed, a feasibility workshop is conducted with local institutions, and a report will be sent to them once they have completed the payment. The report consists of the list of things that can be done to improve the digitalization, innovation, capacity building and skills development.
Once all the invoices are paid, the country partner will receive 40% of equity. If the performance of the country partner is good, from the second month and going forward, the percentage of equity can rise and reach up to the maximum of 51%.
The process explained involves the phase 1, of a 2-phase collaboration. Phase 2, which is a long -term collaboration, 6 months to 1 year will be explained later during in the training session with more information.
A country partner can work at any time as long as the institution or prospector has reached up.
At the moment the highest number of partnerships that have been brought up by country partner is 10 in a month and received the payment accordingly.
For the first pitching, the country partner will receive training from BøthOfUs followed by one month trial period. In the training program, you will get a lot of help on how to prospect, how to pitch and all the information and assistance you will need throughout the process.
During the trial period of one month, if a country partner cannot turn in any business or institutions, coming in as a partner, then a grace period is given, and we discuss to decide how we can collaborate further.
If you feel like you are part of this, kindly go into the description and fill up the form.
The form is very simple, including your name, your country, and any questions you may have.
Thank you.
