Dr. Dan from Preferred Chiropractic in Round Lake Beach explains some exercises and stretches that he does with his patients to help stabilize the lowerback and to decrease any hyperlordosis in the lowerback.
1. Stretch the lowerback. Sit on bench and bring hands between legs.
2. Stretch hip flexors. One foot out in front of you, other knee and ground and lean forward.
3. Planks
4. Pelvic tilts on the ground
5. Bridges
6. Shoulders on a bench, and pelvic thrusts to the sky.
7. Hamstring strengthening. Lay flat on back, feet on ball and try to curl ball to your but.
