They started filming The New Mickey Mouse Club in 1976. The 25th anniversary was held in a Valencia, California, clubhouse on May 19, 2001. Hosted by Lisa Whelchel. Lisa's Special Guest of Honor was her wonderful grandmother, Nanny (Velma French). Attended by 8 former New Mouseketeers, their family members, fellow workers on the show (NMMC choreographer, costumer, set teacher) plus some lucky die-hard fans. Video taken by Karen Tj.
