Social anxiety is a form of anxiety that restricts your actions when it comes to talking with people, taking on social engagements, and being around others.
It comes from a fear of being judged, making social mistakes, or fear of other people. These fears can come from negative past experiences, traumatic events, or certain patterns of negative social thinking.
To change this, the cycle of social anxiety that perpetuates itself must be broken.
A process that involves exposure to anxiety inducing events, calming skills, and slowly changing cores beliefs over time tends to be very beneficial for alleviating social anxiety.
