The San Francisco peaks are a large volcanic field. On the left side of those mountains, you find a peak that is taller than the rest of them. It is called Humphreys peak and at 12,633 feet, that is the highest point in Arizona. The four other highest peaks are Humphreys, Agassi, Fremont, and Doyle. All those peaks are just remnants of what was in the past and the entire mountain used to be much higher than it is today.
