Today I got experimental with the grafting. I decided to graft 2 different cultivars onto the same rootstock (Amagi Shigure + Sawa Chidori). it's something I've been thinking about doing for a while and the time to try it out has finally come. These 2 cultivars look fantastic next to eachother and compliment eachother so well. This is why I decided to choose these 2. Both reticulated types with an outrageous pallet of colours between them.
again, the pic for the video was taken from my phone, no photoshop or enhancements! That is Amagi Shigure new growth just after being watered. (There's water definitely brings out the definition and colour on the foliage!
