ZEITVIEW REPORTING PILOTS TO THE FAA?!?!?!?! | You better upload your licenses...

In perhaps the most supreme display of C-suite idiocy, Zeitview recently sent out an email blast to all of the drone pilots on their Drone Base mailing list that did not have a copy of their Part 107 license uploaded to their profile.

While that may seem all well-and-good, it wasn't so much the goal they were trying to reach as it was the manner in which they were trying to reach it. For those of us that had never taken a job from their job board (like me, because I'm not settling for $50 for 5 hours of work an hour away), we received a pseudo-kind email reminding us that we needed to upload our licenses or face the possibility of having our accounts deactivated...pfffftttt...

However, pilots who HAD accepted or taken jobs from the job board were sent a very different email...one that threatened to turn them into the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) if they did not comply with uploading their Part 107 license by October 7th! Yikes!!!
