In this video we take a ride on Nuline Charter bus #111, which is a 1997 Scania K93CRB with an Austral Pacific 'XL' body. We ride this bus on a Bus and Coach Society of Victoria tour which visited Nuline Charter and Bayside Coaches on the 23rd April 2023. We ride the bus on the Westgate Freeway, including a trip on the Westgate Bridge.
This particular bus was meant to be withdrawn during COVID, but afterwards as charter demand picked up the bus was retained and as it was due for its 25-year frame inspection, it was decided to repaint the bus into the Nuline livery that it received when it was delivered in 1997. This is to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Geoff Vickers & Andrew Czarnecki of Bayside Coaches taking over Nuline Bus Services from Craig Coop and renaming it to Nuline Charter.
