Part 1: CSD Cards & Monthly / Annual Purchase Limits (Quick Explanation)

Most users know that CSD works through Grocery Card and Liquor Card, but many still get confused about:

Who is eligible (Officers, JCOs, OR, and eligible Defence Civilians)

Monthly limits for groceries

Liquor card value limits

AFD (Against Firm Demand) annual limits

AFD-1 vs AFD-2 vs Non-AFD rules

As per commonly referenced CSD limit structures, the combined monthly value limits (Grocery + Liquor Card) are typically shown around:

Officers / Equivalent: Grocery + Liquor Card total up to ₹13,500/month and AFD annual limits up to ₹1,00,000.

Part 2: Liquor Bottle Entitlement (Rank-wise)

Part 3: AFD Car / Two-Wheeler & Big-Ticket Entitlements

A big part of confusion is around AFD vehicle entitlement (car cost limits, lifetime eligibility, and the gap between purchases). Many recently shared guides list rules like:

Pay Level based car cost limits,

8-year gap between purchases,

extra margin for Electric Vehicles (EV), and

Part 4: Delhi High Court Case – Why It Matters

This case has been running since 2018 and has seen repeated re-listing / date changes over the years (as explained in the video). The key concern raised is: why hearings keep getting deferred and when a final hearing will actually happen.
