With VR, a lot of emphasis is placed on first-person experiences. And while first person has a prominent place in VR with phenomenal experiences, there seems to be a common misconception that third-person VR is less immersive or inferior in some way. Well, I want to discuss why I believe this is a wrong assumption, and even go as far to say it may be the future of VR and gaming in general.
