Southern noir or Southern Gothic is a special sort of genre that when done right shines a sinister light on those dark secrets. In the case of today's series, you had the best of all of these mixed into a twisted, beautiful epic masterpiece that happened to be co-launched by a master of horror named Sam Raimi.
