What is it? - Ultralight Fishing

This is the Tsurinoya Lanius Ultralight Fishing reel, a premium looking a feeling reel that doesn't have the premium price tag. It would best be used for species such as Trout, Perch and Smallmouth Bass. This reel performs just as well as reels from Shimano and Daiwa but at less than half the price. Tsurinoya is an established fishing brand that is one of the most popular for anglers that are trying to get the best value for money. They have a great reputation especially amongst BFS anglers.

Tsurinoya did offer me a small discount for reviewing this reel but my opinions are not in any way influenced by that. I don't have any long term relationship or partnership with Tsurinoya and just want to make anglers aware that other options exist apart from the big name brands.

If you are new to BFS fishing (bait finesse system) and you don't know what the best reel and rod is for you then this channel is a great starting point.
