Relocate Your Regulator/Rectifier for Better Cooling – Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Mod 🔧🔥
In this video, I walk you through step-by-step how I relocated the Regulator Rectifier on my 2021 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 to a much cooler, more efficient spot — just below the oil cooler at the front of the bike. 💨
By moving the reg/rec to this location, it gets direct airflow, which helps prevent overheating and prolongs the life of the component. This is a smart upgrade, especially if you ride in hot climates or do long-distance trips.
I used 14-gauge silicone wire (link below) for added durability and heat resistance.
💡 Fun fact: Royal Enfield places the reg/rec in this same location on the Super Meteor 650 (Bear 650), so this mod is factory-inspired!
If your reg/rec fails in the future, this setup also makes it WAY easier to replace. Win-win.
