Columbina Playlist: The Moonborn's Journey to find Home

This is a Playlist of songs of relative popularity based around the character Columbina and her journey in the latest quests in Genshin Impact.

It was made before A Traveler in a winters night was released, although it spoils up to that quest, as i accidentally saw some leaks regarding a specific characters fate on Twitter. If you mind that, maybe dont watch the video that goes along with the music. I will now proceed to discuss in length my choices for the playlist as it if was an opera and what the story of it is.

It is meant to be a sort of musical representation of Columbinas life from the moment of her birth to her "Uprising". Columbina was born alone, venerated as a goddess, and then left her "religion" as it brought her great loneliness, i like to think that in this period and in her alone time she longed for a loved one, this is the period of songs before the fatui sign shows up: The Aisle 1 from Pink Pantheress, which is her longing for a lover, and then a cover of the music for trailer for the movie Walpurgisnacht Rising by Johnathan JEG using i think a Vocaloid, finally ending with My Time from Bo-En, the songs i find lovely and i recommend you endorse all the artists, specially J-JEG because hes quite underrated.
I like to think she was on the border of going mad before joining the fatui(The state millitia of her homeland) and after leaving her cult, which i liked to represent with My Time and "Goodnight Irene" which is why the screen goes kinda crazy within that period of time.

She then went to embrace her homelands state and millicia after becoming acquantices with the "queen" or "princess" named Anastasya (the actual term is Tsaritsa, and in this playlist story, theyre also LOVERS) and then left them when she felt used. Before leaving, she made a sibling like bond with a very bad man who used her for her powers to experiment, and a (in my opinion) lovers like bond with her work mate Marionette and a few other friends.
The fatui period i think was originally pretty intoxicating, as to why i put first a bubbly and crazy like song about pasting and cutting skin (metaphor for self harm) called Cubism by Sasuke Haraguchi for Needy Streamer Overload, but that ultimately fades out and leads to a dark self reflection. This ultimately becomes a hopeful boost of morale and contemplation with the help of her lovers (Anastasya and Sandrone) and new friends within Columbinas coworker cycle. Our protagonist then decides she wants to know her origin, and go back to the moon, which is why i put the song Nod Krai (which is her story) in a russian cover (the fatuis language). She then proceeds to enjoy a period of hedonism with her lovers (Tonight+JADE of Pink Pantheress Fancy Some More) and finds that the Fatui are using her too much in the song "Bewitching eyes" from Hades 2 and leaves them in "Never Be Alone" by Shadrow, which is about horrors in the corner of your house(mind) keeping you company.

Within this song, she leaves the fatui, which will proceed to chase her for the foreseeable future in a complot by her "Older brother" to get her power.
She then meets a group of lovely people in "The Aisle 2" by Pink Pantheress enjoys their quiet company in animal crossing city folk night music, and then fights a new enemy from her older sisters "bloodline" in "Moon Halo" from Hi3rd, falls in love with a new lover in "Magnetic" by Illit which LEADS HER BACK TO THE MOON(this is so cringe! almost yumeshipping...)

When Columbina thoughts she finally reaches the moon... Her "Older brother" fatui figure betrays everyone and tries captures her for her power, but instead, she goes to a crazy journey within a "song" composed of TDAC lines and Basics in Behavior by the living tombostone, where she meets her sisters in Somnias A Luna, which also played in the biggening and then an interpretation of Le Voyage Dans La Lune from a hot latino dude whos underrated and il link here.

Then comes Bayonettas Fly Me To The Moon, Moon River and the Bayonetta Origins main theme meanwhile her friends and lovers fight the "Older brother" fatui guy (except Anastasya, who sat this out cuz she a fraud).


Then they trick him to lower his guard by making him think the person holding the mcguffin to bring our protagonist back is Sandrone, but it actually was a robot next to her, to which he kills Sandrone withouth knowing this, and it is through her sacrifice which Columbina is reborn with the strenght of the three moons of her world, to which sounds "Hijo de la luna" by Mecano for its tragic tone as the end of this tale, to be closed by the chant of Nod Krai. "Who do you cry for? Who do you mourn? ¡¿Who do you cry for?!, ¡Moon, lighten up this land and defeat our evil!" in latin, so uh, the original song Nod Krai.
