In this video I show you how I created a goblin image using acrylic paint. In addition to the artwork, I also show you how I prepared the illustration board painting surface.
Materials used:
1. Painting surface: Crescent #110 cold press illustration board
2. Painting ground: Acrylic-based white gesso
3. A foam brush to apply gesso
4. Scotch 1-inch wide masking tape
5. Loew-Cornell La Corneille brushes
6. Golden and Liquitex acrylic fluid and tube paints
7. A palette knife
8. Prismacolor Ebony drawing pencil
9. Prismacolor Burnt Sienna colored pencil
10. Grumbacher workable spray fixative (to seal the drawing)
Thanks to these wonderful musicians for the use of their music:
1. “Keys to the Kingdom” - The 126s
2. “Your Voice is American” - Letter Box
3. “Where Shall We Dine” - Letter Box
4. “Flow” - MK2
