Funded by the Michigan-Mellon Project, the ArcPrep Program is a collaboration between the U-M Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and Detroit Public Schools Community District that expands opportunities for high school juniors who want to learn about opportunities in the architecture field.
This four-month-long program connects students with architects and designers throughout the city while also introducing them to professional skills, including design, project management, technological and software proficiency, problem solving, communication and visualization. Nearly 500 students have gone through the program since 2015.
