The idea of this came from that line in Study in Pink "You were the one that upset her Mycroft" so what could Mycroft have done to upset their mother?
I thought the best storyline would be how they used to get along but then something changed ... Jealousy became a problem between them growing up. Now Mycroft wants to repair their relationship but finds Sherlock doesn't want to forgive him.
We all know how much these two brothers really care for each other even if they are unwilling to show it...
