Can A Value Disney Resort Compete with a Moderate or Deluxe??!!??

We love Disney (Obviously) and while the parks are amazing and the food can be out of this world, we adore Disney Resorts! When we started going 18 years ago we stayed off property. We rented houses which were fantastic and had their own pools and hot tubs! But for my 40th birthday my wife surprised me with a night at the Contemporary Hotel with view overlooking the Magic Kingdom and we haven't looked back since. And while the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary are spectacular hotels, they are also VERY expensive. So we have scrimped and saved in order to stay at the nicest resorts Disney has to offer. But this time we shed our upper crust hotel choices and head to one of Disney's value resorts to see how it matches up...and spoiler alert...it's pretty great! Join me, my son and his friends as we tour Disney's All-Star Sports Hotel and see what the differences are and if saving a WHOLE bunch of money is worth missing out on what the Deluxe or even Moderate hotels have to offer.
