Guided By Voices - Watch Me Jumpstart (1998) Extended re-edited documentary covering golden era GBV

Re-edited and expanded full lenght documentary film by Banks Tarver, featuring the classic era line-up of Guided By Voices. Recounting the weird and wonderful story of the band up to the release of "Under the Bushes Under the Stars", the stand-out album that market the tail end of golden era Guided by Voices.

In this alternative version I'm adding promo videos, live cuts and other extra material from the DVD. It's now 50 minutes. More is more... Also, I've changed, rearranged and omitted things to my taste. Lots of tweaks left and right. It is rough around the edges but that's how it should be and comes with the territory, right? I made this a couple of years ago and I probably would change a few things today if I could. But I can't, so... yeah. It is what it is.

Nowadays I find myself watching this over and over, just amazed how utterly great this band was at the time.

I hope you enjoy it as I do. In any case it's longer and meatier than the original. And that, in and by itself, is a good thing if you ask me.
