In Robertsport, Liberia, surfing isn’t just a sport — it's a lifeline. For pioneers like Philipp Banini and his friends, every wave is a chance to stay off the streets, out of trouble, and build something better.

Surfing helps them manage stress, heal from trauma, and believe in futures far bigger than the sea in front of them. And for Liberia’s first National Surf Champion — and the community’s first female surfer — these waves are more than fun. They're a shot at careers, sponsorships, travel, and change.
