HOW TO SPOT AND AVOID MODELING SCAMS: Do not fall for this modeling agency scam.

Many aspiring models fall prey to modeling scam as a result of not understanding what are reputable versus shady modeling practices. With thousands of modeling agencies all over the world and with the ease of social media having access to more people, scammers often approach models online and pretend to be a reputable agency.

Someone pretending to be a modeling scout may also approach you on the street and say that they are working with a top agency. It's easy to get caught up in their lies because you think your modeling goals are finally going to happen based on how much they tell you that you have the potential to be a model.

PRO TIP FOR ASPIRING MODELS:
Never sign a contract the day someone offers you one.
Always google the agency name and make sure they are reputable...call the agency to versify the scout works for them. You also do not have to attend a modeling convention that costs $4,000 to get discovered.
