This was my second time hiking to the Kendall Katwalk, and again I enjoyed every step. The trail was really well maintained, and just the right amount of difficulty. The elevation was gradual the whole way and was never particularly grueling. This time I decided to summit Kendall Peak on the way back, which adds a relatively short distance but a decent amount of elevation gain. This side trail to the summit is extremely steep, bordering on a scramble. But if you take it slow, you are rewarded with fantastic views of the Cascades. There were a decent amount of PCT thru-hikers today as well, which is always cool to see.

12.94 miles round trip, with 3,215 feet of elevation gain. Moving time of 4:37.
Located in Snoqualmie Pass region.
Northwest Forest Pass is required for parking.
