7:40 am September 10, 2020, Double Decker Bus service, aboard a Metlink NZBus Double Decker Bus. From Miramar North, to Wellington Railway Station, via the Hataitai - Mt. Victoria Bus Tunnel! It was windy this morning, BUT, which is rear for this route, it wasn't very cold and damp. It was still about 12'C that morning. So, there was NO FROST on the front window. Front window was dirty, but you could still see through it and changed seats after a few stops to capture through a less dirty side of the front window.
I'm an Island Bay resident (a southern coastal suburb in Wellington City), and caught the 6:47 am No.32X bus from Island Bay - Courtenay Place, in time for the 7:10 am 31X single decker bus service to Miramar outside 91 Park Rd. Then jogged for 4 minutes and then I was at the start of this bus route, in time for the 7:40 am service.
The No.31X is a weekday peak service only, providing an express link from Miramar (an eastern suburb in Wellington City) to Wellington Railway Station.
