Wasai Wong Kadir Waterfall is situated in Labi Forest and can be accessed through a 700m easy hike from Wasai Wong Kadir Recreational park, located 4km north of Labi town. It is situated about 120 km from Bandar and Miri (Malaysia) and it will take approximately 1.5 hours to reach there.
The hike is easy but you need to be careful for rocky path and slopes. Infants can be taken in baby carrier. Once you finish the hike, you will be greeted with a magnificent view of the fall as the stream take a deep plunge in the pool below. The water is crystal clear and cold. There were not many visitor and you may bring your food and barb-e-q accessories for grilling. We had a splash in the pool. But, swimming deep is prohibited (fatalities due to drowning is not uncommon). You can also cook and have picnic and the park entrance, where the facilities are top class.
In summary, a perfect weekend gate-out for family and adventurous people. Njoy.
