My factory wiring and vacuum lines layout 1997 Prado J95 1KZTE engine
If removing the EGR and Intake manifold for cleaning:
-Use open ring spanners to remove Injection lines. Cylinders #1 and #4 require you hold the pipe fittings securely by hand when loosening or tightening. This prevents them being damaged, as they have less structural support compared to #2 and #3 lines.
-A plastic filter connects between the pressure sensor (on intercooler) and the throttle body (below the butterfly). The pressure sensor voltage is read by the ECU and is used for correction coefficients for fuel volume correction and sets the boost cut. Either the voltage signals need be modified or a higher pressure sensor chosen to increase boost beyond factory limits
