Welcome to the Retro Time Machine! Today we will be making beautiful gelatin art flowers - but with an alcoholic twist!
I'll post the recipes below for smaller batches and also a link to how to make your own flower flavored vodka!
For this project you will need:
Drink lids (lids from a frozen yogurt shop)
Gelatin
Sugar
Water
Citric acid
Coconut milk
Food coloring
White food coloring
Flavoring
Flavored vodka
Cream liqueur
Coconut oil
Paper towels
Toothpicks
Flower art tools
Recipies:
Clear:
2 cups of hot water
1 cup cold water (to bloom gelatin)
2.5 cups sugar
4 tbsp gelatin (for firm jello)
1 tbsp citric acid (for tart jello)
2 cups flavored vodka
Cream:
1 cup coconut milk
5 tsp gelatin
1 cup hot water
3/4 cream liqueur
