TODAY, I'M RETURNING TO A PLACE THAT BRINGS ME SUCH GREAT INNER PEACE.
It was maybe the first place that I called home in the Philippines, if only for two weeks when I was sick - it certainly marked a turning point in my journey.
And this time, we are delving deeper and deeper into the lives and culture of the people here, in a place called Salabanog, part of Laconon.
From the simplicity of life, to a bamboo blower that I've never seen before, to onuk nelut (bamboo chicken!) - this is a place that always brings me healing.
