The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Kochi Branch Office, in collaboration with St. Albertian College, Ernakulam, hosted the vibrant Albertian Educational Expo 2025 on 9th and 10th January 2025. With over 30,000 enthusiastic students attending, the event was a grand celebration of knowledge, creativity, and innovation.
BIS Pavilion Highlights

The BIS Pavilion was a major attraction, featuring:
✅ Fun Games – Educating while entertaining.
✅ Virtual Reality (VR) Chair – A thrilling interactive experience.
✅ Awareness Sessions – Informative talks on BIS Standards Marks, the BIS Care App, and the importance of standards.
✅ Industry Showcases – 13 stalls by large, medium, and small-scale industries, offering insights into their contributions.
Exciting Competitions and Performances

The event was packed with engaging activities:
🎯 General Quiz Competitions for college, higher secondary, and high school students – A true test of knowledge and quick thinking.
💃 Spot Choreography and Music Band Competitions – A showcase of creativity and talent.
🎸 Live Band Performance at the BIS Pavilion – Electrifying entertainment on the first day.
🌀 Mentalist Performance on the final day – A mind-bending experience that left the audience amazed.
Student Participation

The expo provided a platform for students to shine:
🏫 25+ schools and 15 colleges actively participated.
📚 Awareness sessions helped young minds understand the role of standards in shaping everyday life.
