OPTIC HSE Management Software: Templates (Custom Forms)

OPTIC main modules allow users to use one or more custom layouts or "templates". Another term for them is "electronic forms".

Those can be configured in Settings. For example, for an Inspection Management template we would need to go to Settings -- Inspection Management -- Templates and click "Add" button at top right.
After providing a template name and clicking SAVE, a basic template is created. Clicking on a template name allows editing its layout.

For a common inspection form - with "Yes" / "No" questions on each row, a predefined Toolbox item can be used. After inserting it in the template by drag & drop, followed by SAVE, its content can be managed by in-place editing.

Additional rows can be added or existing ones removed through "Manage Observation Types & Items" panel.

A similar template can be created for the mobile app by clicking the corresponding "Create Mobile Template" button in the template list.

New records can be created using any template. The template can be selected by clicking either on template name or on template selection button from top blue bar.
