Thinking about joining the military? Don’t make the mistake of asking Special Forces operators how to prepare—unless you're aiming to become one of them. In this video, I break down why advice from Navy SEALs, Green Berets, and PJs might not apply to your path if you're pursuing a conventional military career.
Special Forces live in a completely different world: different training, different mission sets, and very different day-to-day lifestyles. While their experiences are elite and honorable, their perspective doesn’t always translate to the regular Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps life.
👇 Here's what we cover:
Why SF life is not representative of conventional military service
Where their advice can mislead new recruits
The right time to ask questions from SF operators
Who you should be listening to if you're just starting your journey
📌 Bottom line: If you’re not trying to be an operator, get advice from someone who lives the day-to-day conventional military life. The advice that gets you through basic, AIT, or your first duty station is not the same as selection prep.
