Double dip acrylic pour tile coasters Pearl green gold black

Hi Everyone,

Read through everything before trying and make notes!

I used pebeo Pearl greens and gold with Boldmere white and black. No silicone!

I definitely think I need practice as it seems I pressed them together too hard.. the paint thinned too much, especially on the second set.

But I won’t give up. I’m going to try again tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled.

I like the effect of the scraped paint. I keep all of these as a collection and sell when they start to look like they are a nice set.. I have so many in lots of different colours!

I used: (these are approximate as the original paints are varying consistencies so I drip test)

My glue medium 65:35 (glue:water)
My paint mix for all 55:45 (medium:paint)

Don’t forget to do a pour tilt / drip test to check the consistency of all paint running the same. Simply pop the same size (small) blobs next to each other on a sheet of folded paper and then tip the paper to check they all run at the same time. If they don’t, thicken or thin respectively.
