Shape of your Glasses should enhance your face! So here's a guide on how to find your face shape and the right glasses for your face shape!

Figuring out what face shape you have can be difficult. This will help you figure that out and discover what frame/glasses will best suit you!

Take a photo of yourself directly facing the camera and use a piece of tracing paper to outline the edge of your face to work out your face shape. No camera? Then look in the mirror and with an erasable pen (or even some lipstick), trace the outline of your face on the mirror - whatever you do, just make sure you can wipe it off afterwards!

ROUND: A round face is fairly short with a wide forehead, often with full cheeks and a rounded chin.For you, it’s all about creating angles that will flatter and balance out the roundness of your face. To do this, look to frames with sharper edges.

OVAL: Oval faces are well balanced and softly rounded, with a forehead slightly wider than the jaw and high cheekbones.You’ve struck gold! Though all frames will suit you, to keep your true oval shape, look for styles that are as wide as the broadest part of your face.

HEART: Heart-shaped faces have a broad forehead and wide cheekbones that narrows down to a small chin.Lucky you! Lots of shapes will suit you, but your goal is to choose frames that will provide contrast and balance to your face, not mimic it.

SQUARE: A square face has a broad, deep forehead, wide jaw line and square chin.Your aim is to elongate your face and to soften the jawline. Rounded frames will help you achieve this while also working to lengthen the nose.

OBLONG: An oblong face is longer than it is wide and has a long straight cheek line.To offset the length of your face, look for frames that have more depth than width. Decorative details and contrasting temples will add width to your face.

DIAMOND: Diamond-shaped faces are narrow at the eye line and jawline, and have broad cheekbones that may be high and dramatic.

Look for top-heavy styles like semi-rimless frames, rectangle and oval. Upswept frames like the cat-eye will emphasise and soften your cheekbones.
Try to avoid:
Narrow frames will draw attention to your narrow eye line, so it’s best to avoid these styles.

TRIANGLE: Broad forehead and wide cheek bones that narrow to a small chin.A base-up triangular facehas a very wide top third and small bottom third. To minimize the width of the top of the face, try frames that are wider at the bottom, very light colors and materials and rimless frame styles.

Glasses frames that are wider on the bottom, Frames that are all one colour and made of a light material.
Try to avoid:
Frames that wide at the top, styles with a bold upper and light lower rim.
