What a mild couple of months! I don't ever remember a January and February like this. It is usually very cold and snowy during this time of year, but we had more days with no snow on the ground than with snow.......thank goodness. LOL The wild things are all doing great. I've had over 40 deer stop by one evening.....a record! It helped that the big boys came up, and Sassy with her gang of probably a dozen, plus all the regulars. What a sight!
These are all very wild deer that have come to trust me in a very unique way. They run if anyone comes walking down the road or tries to come into my yard. They stop in for a quick snack, then head back out into the wild to live their normal lives.
