全ての河川が一点に合流する地に鎮座し
不浄を祓い豊かな稔りと成し給う水を司る神であり朝廷をはじめ万民を守護する御膳神として
古来より厚く信仰されてきました
 また日本書紀に記載されているように
天武天皇は風を司る龍田風神と一対の社として
龍田・廣瀬両社を併せ祀る事により
風水を治め国家安泰・五穀豊穣を祈願されました

毎年、2月11日に行われる「砂かけ祭り」（庭上の儀、砂かけ行事）は、御田植祭で、砂を雨に見立ててかけ合い五穀豊穣を祈ります。

As a god who controls the water that purifies uncleanness and produces abundant fertility, and as a god who protects all people including the imperial court
It has been deeply worshiped since ancient times

Emperor Tenmu is a pair of companies with Tatsuta-taisha, who controls the wind.
By enshrining both Tatsuda and Hirose together
He ruled Feng Shui and prayed for national security and a good harvest.

Every year, on February 11th, the "Sanding Festival" (garden ceremony, sanding event) is a Mita planting festival, in which sand is regarded as rain and we pray for a good harvest.
