My favorite spin-off! The new theme on the sax and guitar, the bright green and white redesign of the house, the hair, the clothes, even the mustaches, I don't know why, but out of all the spin-offs, this one fascinates me the most!

Like "The Brady Girls Get Married", the first episode of this, where Bobby wrecks, was just intended to be another reunion TV movie, until, like the "Brady Girls Get Married", the ratings were high enough that the TV heads decided to instead release the hour-long TV movie in 2 parts, and make it the first two episodes in an all new attempt at a Brady series, again, just like they did with "The Brady Girls Get Married", which when aired, was cut into three parts, and was made to be the first three episodes in "The Bradys Brides" spin-off.

This spin-off failed because it tried to blend adult, soap opera melodrama with the family friendly squeaky clean tone of the original series, trying to appeal to kids and adults, but done so poorly, it appealed to neither. It sounds like a great concept on paper... Just like in the original series, the Brady kids must deal with challenging life dilemmas, only now it's their problems as adults. Well, kids didn't care about any of the adult situations, like Mike running for city councilman, or Marcia’s mid life crisis, and the adults couldn't care about that stuff either because it was all handled so saccharine and naively, which is what the Bradys are about, but it just never went fully in either of the two directions, and stayed in the middle, loosing its audience with each episode. Despite all of this, I still love and am still fascinated with this rare Brady project.

I originally uploaded this video in early 2023 on my old channel, sadly though my channel got multiple bullshit copyright claims thanks to YouTube's joke of a copyright system, but the original upload of this had up to somewhere around 3k views, and a ton of comments. I also made this thumbnail art for my original upload as well. Anyway, to spare my fingertips, I wont completely novelize my love for this spin-off, nor the Bradys in general, so just enjoy the 5 episodes of this very short lived series, ripped from the one and only official release, from the DVD set: "The Brady-est Brady Bunch Movie and TV Collection".
