Gotcha Plug hook replacement/ how to replace hooks on gotcha lures/ how to rewire a gotcha lure

I have been meaning to make this video since last May , man how time flies . I have been replacing hooks on the gotcha lures for 25 years or so . I learned how to do this from some of the older fisherman that I fished the piers with . If those guys liked you they would tell you some good stuff . I bet a lot of those guys have passed on now . So now is my time to share how to do this .
Fishing lures cost to much to buy and then not fish with them because they have rusted hooks .

I met the man responsible for , as we know it now the Gotcha plug made by Sea Striker . I never knew his last name but his first name was Sam and he fished a lot on the Iron Steamer Pier . I cried when they removed that old pier . That old pier holds a lot of good memories for me all the way back to the mid 70s fishing there as a boy . Sam made and sold plugs called Little Micky's they were usually silver with a hair on the rear of them . But of course Sea Strike Has expanded there line of lures . I actually saw a couple fishing on a pier one afternoon about 7 years ago and as we both were re-rigging a lure, I noticed in his tackle box he still had some new Little Mickys still in the package , I offered him $20 a piece but he would not sell me one .
