It’s late 1943, and the German capital lies dormant in the late hours of the night when a low, menacing hum breaks through the clouds. The British bombers have arrived, their shadows creeping over Berlin, ready to wreak havoc with their payloads.

But the Luftwaffe's night hunters have been lying in wait. NJG 1 pilots, Germany's elite night fighter wing, are already in position. They are the final line between Allied bombers and the heart of Nazi Germany.

Moving like ghosts, they approach their targets just out of radar range, diving swiftly to position themselves beneath the bombers' vulnerable underbellies. Before the British crews notice what is happening underneath them, the German fighters surge upward, opening fire from their upward-firing Schräge Musik cannons, striking where their enemy is weakest.

Amid the chaos, British pilots wrestle with control. Fingers tighten on the aircraft's controllers as the German night fighters press their attack, determined to halt the campaign that could win the war for the Allies. The Battle for Berlin has begun, and the NJG 1 is ready to turn the night sky into a gruesome battlefield.
